Steel drum virtuoso Othello Molineaux says popularizing the steel drum is his life's mission. He arrived from Trinidad in Miami, USA as a steel drum pioneer just ahead of the '70s disco tide.



By 1976, Othello Molineaux drew his first widespread exposure when he played on the bassist Jaco Pastorius' acclaimed self-titled album.



Over the years, Othello Molineaux's appeared in concert with such greats as Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock and Weather Report.
