In October 2008 Maurits de Vries was one of the finalists in Dutch television show Rock Nation, which featured the search for a new Dutch super rock band.



Maurits de Vries not only plays drums, he also plays guitar in Worldwide Ponyride.



Maurits names Aaron Gillespie, Travis Barker, Abe Cunningham and Taylor Hawkins as inspirational drummers.
