Matze Bässler started playing drums at age eight. He studied at Drummer's Focus in Stuttgart with Andy Witte, and Carl Palmer.



Matze Bässler has played with Big Band Asperg, lots of musicals (Cats, Evita, Starlight Express, König der Löwen, Tabaluga and Lilly), Ben Bledsoe Band, and Starxpress Band among others. He recorded with Subzero, Tattoobar, Morbid Chicken, Jukebox, Wild Union, and Saitenwechsel.



Also Matze performed on a ZDF TV-Show with Ben Bledsoe and on the drum festival Ludwigsburger Trommeltage in South Germany.
