Marcelo F. Palomino is a Los Angeles-based drummer who has played with Manhole, Tura Satana and My Ruin among others.
Marcelo left My Ruin in 2008 and was replaced with drummer J.D. Flores (Heavenly Trip To Hell).
In March 2012 Marcelo Palomino rejoined My Ruin.
A native of Los Angeles, Marcelo Palomino grew up wanting to play music. he picked up a pair of drum sticks at the age of 12 and started playing. But like many others, his second passion was film. He got his first break in music at the age of 25 when his band Manhole/Tura Satana signed their first record deal, recorded the first of two albums and hit the road.
After several years of touring the band broke up, and Marcelo Palomino went back to playing the club scene with some other bands.
Marcelo developed a wrist problem witch kept him from playing so he set his sites on film school. He graduated from the New York Film Academ) in 2005 with 14 critically acclaimed Student Films to his credit.
