Lee "Aantar" Coates hits the skins in US metallers Unholy Ghost until July 2004. Although no official reason for Lee's termination has been given, it appears that his exit was due to internal strife as well as Aantar's chronic degeneration of both elbows, which has caused difficulties concerning touring/live performances. Coates is followed up by David Breazeal.
Soon after his departure from Unholy Ghost Coates shows up in Blastmasters, a Florida-based death metal band. Formed on June 27, 2004, the band's brand of "death grind" features "blistering guitar riffs, stellar leads, devastating machine gun drum work, and demonic vocals." The musicians complete work on their debut self-titled demo at D.O.W. Studios with producer Juan "Punchy" Gonzalez in August 2004.
Lee Coates is also one of the founding members of Diabolic. Previously he playd in Horror of Horrors and Exmortis.
