Klaus Sperling was long time drummer in Primal Fear. He was first featured on the band's 1998 debut album and stayed until 2003. "Black Sun" was the last Primal Fear album he was featured on. Sperling was followed up by Randy Black (Annihilator, Rebellion).



In February 2005 Klaus Sperling joined Mystic Prophecy, replacing Dennis Ekdahl in the melodic power metal band consisting of Valley'S Eve vocalist Roberto Dimitri Liapakis, ex-Stormwitch bassist Martin Albrecht, Firewind/ex-Dream Evil guitarist Gus G. and Symphorce guitarist Markus Pohl.



Sperling als plays drums in German death metal band My Darkest Hate, and long-time heavy metallers Sinner.
