Joshua Seth Eagan was born in Las Vegas, Nevada where he began playing professionally by the age of 12. The fourth son of jazz pianist Rudi Eagan, Eagan had constant music in the house.
Josh Eagan's earliest memories were of great musicians hanging out at the house like Sarah Vaughn, Count Basie, Marty Paich, Victor Feldman, Louis Prima and Sammy Davis Jr. Watching his father perform frequently on The Ed Sullivan Show and The Tonight Show intrigued Eagan and made him want to pursue music. Eagan has been privileged to study with premier musicians in a diverse range of styles. These teachers included percussionist Mark Barnett, Ray Porello, Tony Murillo, Mark Craney and Kenwood Dennard. During this period Eagan cut his teeth in the studio with future greats Mark Slaughter, Kristine W. and Daniel de los Reyes.
Joshua Seth Eagan is now a studio musician in Los Angeles. He has been part of The Steakhouse Studio in North Hollywood for over 15 years now. His Studio C musical facility is located on the top floor of The Steakhouse in Studio C where Joshua now produces many new artists and worked on Grammy Award winning records.
Over the years Joshua has recorded / performed on sessions with Pink, Candyman, Tim Armstrong, Sky Sweetnam, David Paich, Bernard Fowler, Daniel De Los Reyes, Walfredo Reyes Jr, Jimmy Haslip, Alphonso Johnson, Neil Stubenhaus, Michael Landau, Bobby Watson, Sal Marquez, Kristine W, Bobby Kimball, Jean-Michel Byron, Masami Okui, Steve Lukather, Billy Sheehan, James Baker & Lonnie Jordan (of War), Andy Vargas (of Santana), Michael Sanders and One Tribe Nation.
Additionally, Joshua Eagan has performed on various soundtracks, movies and hit records including Krisrine W's remake of "The First Time Ever I Saw You Face" featuring David Paich - Karl Eagan and Daniel De Los Reyes on her Billboard charting cd "Straight Up With A Twist". Joshua is currently producing several projects in the studio with Jeff Millar-Sax, Bobby O and Nate Tao.
