Johnny Depp was born as John Christopher Depp II in Owensboro, Kentucky in 1963. Besides actor, he is also a producer and musician, playing drums and guitar.



He drums and some guitar for a cover of Carly Simon's You're So Vain, which will appear as a bonus track on some editions of Marilyn Manson's 2012 album 'Born Villain'.



As a guitar player, Johnny Depp has played slide guitar on some Oasis songs. He also played acoustic guitar in the movie Chocolat and on the soundtrack to Once Upon a Time in Mexico. Johnny also performed on MacGowan's first solo album and was a member of P, a group featuring Butthole Surfers singer Gibby Haynes, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea and Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones.
