John Sankey plays drums in Australian tech-metallers Devolved: a very heavy Brisbane band featuring tight, mechanical Fear Factory-type drumming.



Devolved was voted Australian Metal Band of the Year by both listeners and staff of Triple J radio in 2001.



John Sankey has also been involved in a recording project with former Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares.



John Sankey is also featured on the 2005 album "Rip Him From His Fucking Throne" by Australian death metal band Limb From Limb.



More recently John Sankey drummed with Devil You Know. He was with the band at their inception in 2012 and appeared on their 2014 album 'The Beauty of Destruction' as well as the 2015 follow-up 'They Bleed Red'.
