John Miceli joined Blue Öyster Cult in May 1992, as a temporary fill-in for Chuck Bürgi. He has since appeared sporadically with the band, as well as making up one-third of the Buck Dharma Band that played the Ricky Browning Benefit concert in 1997 in Atlanta.
New Yorker Miceli has also played with Rainbow, and two Good Rats-associated bands, Marchello and The Rat Bastards.
When he's not playing in any of his numerous projects, he also does drum instruction for the Long Island Drum Center, and plays with Meat Loaf during one of his world tours.
John Miceli also plays drums in Faith And Fire, the band featuring Riot guitarist Mike Flyntz and ex-Riot frontman Tony Moore. Faith And Fire released their long-awaited debut album, entitled "Accelerator, in october 2006.
In addition to his work with Meat Loaf, John has recorded with Adam Lambert (For Your Entertainment, "Time for Miracles"), Foxy Shazam ("Count Me Out"), Nine Days, Marchello/The Good Rats (with whom he toured under the former name), and Kerry Ellis (Anthems).
More recently, John Miceli did drum work on the My Chemical Romance release Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.
