John Douglas has played drums in UK metal band Anathema since they started in 1990 - with the exception of a year's break.



June 1997 saw the band's departure of drummer John Douglas. His replacement was ex-Solstice drummer Shaun Steels.



In a surprise move, original drummer John Douglas rejoined at the end of the year 1998.
