As a performance oriented percussionist, Jennifer Lowe has flourished among her musical contemporaries. Recognized for versatility and poignant realization of the song writing process, Lowe has become one of the most noted and sought after musicians in the southeast. Jen Lowe's impressive background includes five years drum corps, seven years teaching, and nine years booking, recording, and performing in her former bands soul food and paper sun. Dedicated to her profession, Lowe has developed the techniques on timbales, congas, djembe, hand percussion and drum kit. This has made her a valuable asset to many projects. Never at rest, her ambitious and resourceful nature constantly pushes her to expand her sound and improve her ability.



In addition to her full time commitment to acres, Jen Lowe has shared the stage with Ritchie Havens, Sister Hazel, Angie Aparo, Gib Droll, The Pat Mcgee Band, Cornbread, Doria Roberts and Marathon. Playing with this increasingly talented line-up has kept her torn between the spontaneity and energy of playing live and the disciplined environment of the studio.
