Known for his powerful dynamic drumming with U.K. rockers Pitchshifter since 1999, Jason Bowld is a man of many talents. With Pitchshifter he toured the world, playing over 20 different countries at a Stadium level - and has continued to do so with other artists over the past ten years.



Upon joining the group in 1999, Jason Bowld injected a heavy, funked-up edge to its raw, agitated sound. Interpreting the group's fusion of drum 'n' bass, hip-hop and rock onto his two-snare set-up, he launches his grooves from two extremes. Bowld says:

"One is quite controlled with a lot of syncopated hi-hat and gost-note patterns, while the other is as brutal as possible, with no letup in velocity."

With the success of their debut album Deviant, and a world trek that saw them sharing the stage with Ozzy, Incubus and Pantera, Pitchshifter is ready to break big with their latest release, PSI.
