Gayelynn McKinney is a founding member of Straight Ahead, an all female jazz group. She has also performed with the likes of revered musicians such as Aretha Franklin, Marcus Belgrave, and Regina Carter.



Gayelynn McKinney also drumswith The McKinney Zone, her side project that meshes jazz, funk, neo-soul and Latin influences.
