Gary Wallis (Westminster, London, 1964) is a drummer/percussionist trained at the London Symphony School of Music. He is best known as the secondary percussionist for Pink Floyd in the post-Waters era for live performances. Gary Wallis can be seen and heard on the Delicate Sound Of Thunder album and video as well as the P*U*L*S*E album and off-shoot video. He has also performed with Mike + The Mechanics, Nik Kershaw, Power Station, Spinal Tap, and Jean Michel Jarre, as well as The Style Council and 10cc.
In the late-nineties Gary Wallis was musical director for Tom Jones. Between 2002 and 2004 he toured Germany with the German band called Schiller.
Wallis also played on the Europe wide hit I Feel You. In 2005, he toured with Marianne Rosenberg. In 2004 and 2005, Wallis was musical director for girl bands Girls Aloud and Atomic Kitten.
In 2006 and 2007, Wallis was musical director and drummer for the classical crossover band Il Divo.
Since 2008, Gary Wallis has been the drummer of the band Westlife on their Back Home Tour.
Gary Wallis is the cousin of Pink Fairies guitarist and former member of Motörhead Larry Wallis.
