Erich Wigdahl has been enamored with drums as long as he can remember, though he didn't play until high school. Erich got his first gig only eight months after he began playing, and knew almost immediately that he wanted to pursue a career in music, which is why in the fall of 2004, Erich Wigdahl moved to Nashville, TN.
Since the move Erich Wigdahl has played with lots of talented artists and musicians including David Nail, Throwing Gravity (recently signed to Lava Universal/Republic), Jaime Fox, Justin Hulsey, Alabaster Box, Nathanael Mehrens, Phil Baquie, and many others. Erich Wigdahl has also recorded in some of the top studios in Nashville with some great producers and musicians including producer Frank Liddell (twice winner ACM of Album of the Year), Throwing Gravity, Greg Hagan, Jaime Fox, Marie Hines, Justin Hulsey, Naarah Seagrott (of Alabaster Box), and Cade Doyle.
Since June 2010 Erich Wigdahl has been the touring drummer for MCA recording artist David Nail. In that time they have played over 100 shows all over the country, opened for country stars like Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, Gary Allen, and Billy Currington, and performed on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
