Drummer, percussionist and producer Drew Hester has worked with Joe Walsh (1999–present), Jewel (2006–2007; drums), Foo Fighters (2006–present; percussion), Chicago (2009–2012; drums and percussion), Lisa Marie Presley (2002–2006; drums), Common Sense (1992–present; drums), Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders (drums and percussion) and many others.
2006 saw Drew Hester joining Foo Fighters as percussionist on their unplugged tour, playing the acoustic side of their double album 'In Your Honor'. He played percussion on their live album and dvd 'Skin and Bones'.
Drew Hester is also credited for playing percussion on the songs Come Alive, Let it Die, Cheer Up, Boys (Your Make Up Is Running), Long Road to Ruin and Summer's End.
Drew Hester has won two Grammy awards with the Foo Fighters.
In January 2009, Hester joined Chicago as a temporary replacement for Tris Imboden who was undergoing medical treatment at the time. After Tris returned to active duty, Hester remained part of the touring band as an auxiliary percussionist untile he departed in May 2012.
