Drummer Daniel Schild was born in 1980 in Lauterbach, Germany. His musical career started at the age of 10 by learning and playing accordion. Just about two years later he began to study drums at the local music school. Up to his school graduate (age 19) Daniel Schild gained experience by playing with more than 20 bands and ensembles in various styles, including the Led Zepplin Cover Group, Serenade, Telly Skavallas, The Ffa-Marching Band, The German Youth Jazz Orchestra (BJazzO). With the FFA-marchingband Daniel Schild was winner of the German Marching Championship in 2000 and toured across Europe.
After his social service Daniel Schild studied drums and percussion at the Drummers Institute in Düsseldorf and at the University Of Music And Performing Arts in Mannheim. In 2002 Daniel Schild earned the third price at the Best Young European Musician Competition in Koblenz.
Currently Daniel Schild is a much requested young German drummer (for live shows and studio recording). He is working with many bands and musicians across Europe. Being one of the main endorsers for Ddrum drums in Germany, he's playing at drumfestivals and doing clinics and workshops.
