Jeff Porcaro discovered the talents of Chris Trujillo early on and chose him to be the percussionist for Toto, up till Porcaro’s untimely passing. The duo’s seamless and exciting performances can be seen on the now-famous live Toto concert video, “Live At Montreux”, featuring a burning Jeff and Chris solo on their iconic song, Africa. Drummer/Percussionist Chris Trujillo has played with some of music’s biggest names, including Rod Stewart, Tom Petty, Richard Marx, The Black Crowes, Diana Ross, The Hollywood Vampires and Glenn Frey. Chris is currently the drummer for the highly acclaimed, Billboard charting R&B vocal group, Tierra.
