Andrea Valentini graduated in classical percussion at the G. Rossini Conservatory of Music and moved to the US in the late 80's where he attended Berklee College of music. He also took private studies with Bob Gullotti, Ed Uribe, Micheal Carvin, and Joel Rosenblatt.



Upon moving to New York, Andrea quickly gained recognition as a all-around drummer.



Andrea Valentini has performed and recorded with artists such as David Clayton Thomas and Blood Sweat & Tears, Donna Summer, blues legend Michael Powers, Tony Orlando, Gwyneth Paltrow, Dr John, Etta Jones, Jeanie Bryson, Vic Juris, Phil Woods, Christian Mcbride, Houston Pearson, Claudio Roditi, Dakota Staton, Laco Deczi, Rossana Casale Grazia Di Michele, Yuraj Griglak, Gigi Cifarelli, Die Laughing, Kerry Politzer, Gotham, Mike Pope, and Tommy Boews.



Andrea Valentini is currently touring with Blood Sweat & Tears on their 40th Anniversary.
