The Vic Firth Six for 2015 in six videos.
For 2015, Vic Firth launches six new products: new American Classic 5A and 5B sticks, the new Steve Smith Tala Wand - Slats, the Split Brush and new rubber practice tips. For the first time the American sticks company laid his hands on drum gloves, the VicGloves. And, the new Vickey2 is out, a high tension drum key to have the best leverage and control when tuning your drums. Neil Larrivee from Vic Firth educates us on these six new items in the Vic-catalog. Hence, here are the six videos in order of appearance.
Vic Firth already had the Chop-Out rubber-tipped marching and drum set practice sticks. In 2015 the company introduced the rubber tips themselves are available to convert virtually any drum set or concert stick model into a quiet practice stick.
The special molded rubber design gives a secure grip on the existing tip and allows for easy and repeated application and removal. The hardness of the rubber tip produces an authentic feel and also creates interesting timbres when played on drums and cymbals. Each package contains 2 pairs of rubber tips: a pair and a spare. Introduced at NAMM 2015.
