Vic Firth Cajon Bru-llet and VicKick Beater explained
472 views | ❤ 0 | 👎 0
Vic Firth takes its first steps into the cajon market with the new Bru-llet, a contraction of the words 'brush' and 'mallet', and a new VicKick Beater for cajon, also recommended for bass drum. With the Bru-llet Vic Firth incorporated the best of both into one new design: a hickory shaft with plastic bristles and a mallet head made from foam. The new and fourth VicKick Beater (VKB4) is made of a foam rubber head and produces a warm, full bass tone on the cajon. The video below shows you the subtle attack it had. Both these new are fully explained by Andy Tamulynas, product manager drumsticks for Vic Firth and Zildjian.
