There are two new snare drums added to Tama's S.L.P. series in 2017: the Classic Dry Aluminum and Fat Spruce. All the details are below the video.
Classic Dry Aluminum
This drum features a seamless 1.2 mm Aluminum shell with a center bead. The 8-lug Steel Mighty Hoops make for a crisp sound with short sustain. The vintage look and sound are reminiscent of the early years of popular aluminum snare drums.
Fat Spruce
This drum features an all Spruce 8 ply shell with a beautiful wood grain finish, and boasts a warm and resonant tone. The combination of the Spruce shell and TAMA's 8-lug die-cast hoops makes for a powerful yet warm rim shot sound.
