The SPD-1W WAV PAD is a new type of digital percussion pad, which allows any musician to play with their own sounds and samples.
Individual wave audio files can be imported in to the SPD-1W pad simply by connecting it to a PC or Mac; whether its full length backing tracks, one-shot samples or your own click tracks, your sounds can be loaded and played in seconds.
Any wave audio file can be loaded onto the SPD-1W via USB connection to a computer - just connect the SPD-1W, which appears as storage device, and drag and drop your files to the SPD-1W WAV Pad.
In this video, Roland artist Kaz Rodriguez has pre-loaded his own backing track on to the SPD-1W. He hits the pad to start the track - whilst you hear the stereo audio from the SPD-1W output, Kaz hears his own mix, including a click that is synced with the track, in his in-ear monitors via the separate headphone output.
