Pearl completey redesigned their 830, 930 and 1030 series hardware for 2013.
The cymbal stands have a new clamping system that prevend you from overtightening the stands and feature interchangable, vibration-absorbing rubber feet that can be spiked. You can change the boom stand into a straight one with the hideaway functionality.
The stands no longer feature double struts to lighten the weight. The BC-830 and BC-930 feature Uni-Lock tilters for infinitely adjustable cymbal positioning, the Pearl BC-1030 boom cymbal stand features a newly designed Gyro-Lock tilter with a built-in percussion post, topped off with reversible cymbal cup that can be used to control the cymbal range of motion.
Also notable: the new Pearl S-1030SL snare stand has a basket that fits drums in extreme sizes from 10-16".
