WROC is my first vocal album since 2016. The lyrics were inspired by the etiquette book, "George Washington's Rules of Civility and Decent Behavior." I truly enjoyed turning Washington's Rules of Civility (WROC) into ROCK songs! I hope my vocal and guitar melodies will stir your heart and improve your table manners. Spit Not in the Fire!

Lyrics inspired by Washington Rule 79 and accidental hallucinations from Claude
In the early stages of writing the lyrics for this album, I used Claude the AI to help me organize my thoughts. In the process, Claude hallucinated some new rules that are not in the Washington book! Claude's hallucinations were actually quite good, so I was fooled for a few days. I wrote two songs with these hallucinated Claude rules before it occurred to me to double-check them for accuracy. My heart sank when I discovered I had drifted from the "real" Washington rules. I debated whether to still use the songs... but I liked the music that I had written! And the lyrics still felt good to me. So Claude gets both credit and blame for this one. There is still a genuine Washington rule in the chorus, which is: "Be not apt to relate news, if you know not the truth thereof." I guess both Claude and I can learn from that one. Either way, I love singing and playing this song!
