Your acoustic drum sound is king. But sometimes you may need to complement your drum sound with samples and sounds from your recording session, or layer an electronic sound on top of your acoustic drum to fit the style of music.
You can enhance your acoustic sound by adding a sound element to reinforce it; lower kicks, punchier snares and deeper toms await. Layering an electronic sound onto the acoustic sound blends the two: 808 kick, clap on the snare and the power of your acoustic drums, all together.
The TM-6 PRO is a dedicated drum module with 500 one-shot drum samples, onboard editable V-Drums sounds, the ability to load your own WAV sounds, and inputs for six triggers or pads, with up to six direct outputs.
In this video, drummer Bob Hall of Catfish and the Bottlemen explores the TM-6 PRO by triggering samples from his kick and snare drum using RT-30 acoustic drum triggers, to enhance acoustic drum sounds for greater dynamic range, increased clarity and performance.
