In 2017 we got Salle to play some BDC drums for us during a view-event at EMD Music in Brussels, Belgium. While still being a Sakae artist, he was already grooving the BDC drums as if he was playing them for years. In 2019 he switched drum brands and just owns the drums!

Watch Dutch drummer Salle de Jonge freewheeling and grooving over the British Drum Company drums at EMD Music in Brussels. Salle is an official Sakae, Zildjian and Remo endorser.
This Lounge Series drum kit has the Kensington Crown finish.
All Lounge Series drums are fitted with BDC's Palladium lugs which are inspired from the Art-Deco period and are centre mounted on the shell. These lugs complete the vintage feel and style. The combination of mahogany and birch shell gives a vibrant, full-bodied tone which is aided by the rounded over 30 degree bearing edge.
The kit is finished with BDC's trademark mahogany and birch bass drum hoops, which are produced from the same mahogany and birch as both the Lounge and Legend Series drums.
Hand made in the Cheshire workshop, the Lounge is available as standard in four finishes.
"Cold Press Moulding" is key to the British Drum Co's signature sound. Using years of experience in wood working and drum shell manufacture BDC believes the secret to the sound and the key to a stable drum shell is the absence of heat when pressing and moulding the shells. The timbers and shells are allowed to naturally acclimatise to the surrounding environment before and after being moulded.
