Baard Kolstad was one of the more than 20 artists performing at the fourth edition of Armin van Buren drummer Koen Herfst his Herfstfest Drum Festival in 2017.

Baard opened with this incredible drum solo of 7 minutes. After that he played a few tracks of his band Leprous of their 2017 album 'Malina,' including the first ever live performance of the opening track 'Bonneville'.

For Baard, this solo was 'just' an improvisation, but it is one that takes off from the first hit he makes.
