Christian Calabro is not only Jojo Mayerâs graphic designer/artist of choice for his band Nerveâs album artwork, Calabro is also a friend and congenial spirit. Like Mayer, Calabro is a border crosser between the digital and the analog world. He may frequently use right hand clicks as a graphic designer, but as an artist his main tools are scraps of paper and glue. He creates works of art that have much to do with what Jojo Mayer articulates in his music: Forward motion. Improvisation. Intuition.
