For the past three years, The World’s Greatest Drummer concert has become one of the most anticipated concerts on the UK drumming calendar. This autumn the World’s Greatest Drummer concert returns in what looks set to be another dazzling display of drumming mastery from the biggest names on the UK drumming scene. Seven leading drummers join forces on stage in the name of drums, music and charity (supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust):Watch as they perform the music that made legendary drummers including Buddy Rich and Louie Bellson define the modern drumset for generations to come.
They are joined by the sensational The World’s Greatest Drummer Big Band, which includes some of the UK’s elite session fraternity and also original members of The Buddy Rich Big Band.
The World\'s Greatest Drummer takes place on Sunday 4 October, 2009 at Lichfield Garrick Theatre, Castle Dyke in Lichfield, WS13 6HR. The event starts at 7.30 pm.
