As Drummerszone.com previously reported: System Of A Down is planning on taking a long hiatus after completing this summer\'s Ozzfest. The group\'s guitarist, Daron Malakian, is forming a new band called Scars On Broadway and plans to work on their debut album this fall.

Another member, bassist Shavo Odadjian, is planning to collaborate musically with the Wu-Tang Clan.

Ozzfest kicked off in Seattle on June 29 and will wrap up on August 13 in West Palm Beach, Florida. System Of A Down is co-headlining most of the trek with Disturbed, with Ozzy Osbourne topping the bill on selected dates.
