Legendary rockdrummer Vinny Appice of Dio and Black Sabbath fame, has teamed up with hard rock vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple, Yngwie J. Malmsteen). They have put together the \'supergroup\' Big Noize.

Besides Appice and Turner, the band includes bassist Phil Soussan (Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol), guitarist Carlos Cavazo (Quiet Riot) and Gary Corbett (Cinderella, Lou Gramm) on keyboards.
With the line-up now shored up, Big Noize has treveled to Nashville to film a dvd. A commercial release is not planned at the moment, but in the future has not been ruled out. The repertoire will feature well-known songs from each artist\'s catalogue.
