At NAMM 2011, Chalo Eduardo and master percussionist Pete Lockett demonstrated a series of new Remo products. From the Tablatone frame drums; yes, a dot you can stick on any (frame) drum skin, to a new instrument in the Remo collection called the Dayereh from Pakistan. In these videos the two artists provide you with valuable background info on the instruments and demonstrate them. This year's press meeting was even more special than others: Mr. Remo Belli, 84 year old, came in and played and talked about the NSL (Not-So-Loud) percussion products.

Remo Belli is convinced these drums will be the dominant mass market percussion products soon. With their Not-So-Loud-sound the NSL-products are suitable for any kind of moment, whether it is at home, or in the recording studio. There are four types of NSL instruments; Tubano®, Djembe, Ladoumbe, Sound Shapes®, and the Acousti-Blox. But there is more...
Remo introduces two new Legendary Series Congas: the conga and the tumba, a new Gospel tambourine, the Doyra, new Diane and Soloist Doumbeks, and a group of Thin Line Frame Drums.
The Infinity Mondo Djembes have a new Mondo Skyndeep Natural drumhead and re-engineered Contour tuning brackets.
With the new Remo Katsugi Okedaiko Remo continues to develop playing taiko drums in various percussion styles. The word Katsugi means to carry, and Remo’s lightweight Katsugi Okedaiko is easily slung over the shoulder and played using two bachi sticks.
Chalo Eduardo and Pete Lockett demonstrate and talk about all these new assets of the Remo Company. As a bonus, we have added some videos of Remo’s new product dvd.
