Sabian's percussion daughter company Gon Bops had some very sweet new introductions at NAMM 2014 in California this year. Luis Cardoso, marketing manager at Sabian Ltd, introduces four new Gon Bops cajons, the four new cymbals and the new bass drum percussion mount the company added to their product catalogue. In addition, he takes you through the booth to show you all bells, tambourines and much more of the products they had on display.
Video I In the first video, Luis shows the new Tumbao Pro Cajons, in Walnut finish and Burnt-Toast-Burst finish, the Rumbero Cajon, handcrafted in Peru from Nogal wood, with Mohena and Requia inlay, and the Fiesta Bongo Cajon. This fun, clean, sleek designed cajon has internal snare wires on both the macho and hembra side. All the cajon includes a free gig bag.
Video II The second video shows the new Gon Bops cymbals: the Timbale splashes in 10" and 12" and the 16" and 18" Hand Crashes. Beautiful designed where the outer ring of the cymbal is playable with your hands. A perfect solution for conga players. The bass drum percussion mount is designed for drummers. It is a durable, versatile mount for bells, blocks and other hand percussion instruments.
