To commemorate the life and talent of the late, world-renown Gospel drummer Marvin McQuitty, Vic Firth has printed a limited run of the American Classic Extreme 5A model, Marvin's drumstick of choice, with his customized signature.
Marvin, who was born on August 30, 1966,
died on September 11 this year after a short severe illness
.
"Uncle Marv" was considered by many to have been a major driving force in the Urban Praise and Worship movement.
The limited drumsticks cost $20.00 USD per pair and can be ordered via
