Frontman Jasper Vergeer does not have enough motivation for an extensive promotional campaign for the new album. This is in sharp contrast to what the rest of the band wants.

On their official band web site the musicians state:

\"After four years of working on the new album, Jasper has decided to quit. The album called “Ambuscade” has already been recorded, but Jasper doesn’t have any motivation left to finish it. Skanne, Dennis, Jorg and Helmer feel really sorry that the process of writing lyrics and recording the vocals has turned out to be too big a task for Jasper. Because of this it is impossible to finish the album in the near future. This is the reason for the band as a whole to quit.\"

Drummer Jorg Smeets and the rest of the band don\'t want to seek a new vocalist to replace Jasper:

\"Because Undeclinable has always consisted of the same 5 people, we all feel that when one of us doesn’t want to continue with this band, replacement is not an option.\"

Most probably Undeclinable will not do any final shows and it is very uncertain if the new album will be released at all.

The sour taste of this sudden break-up drips from the last sentence of their statement: \"For now we just wanna try to move on and forget about this whole thing...\"
