Tycoon\'s e-Cajon is the world\'s first Cajon with a built-in pick-up, amplifier and speaker.
The e-Cajon is designed exclusively by the percussion company and manufactured in their own factory in Bangkok, Thailand.
The e-Cajon\'s features amplify the instrument\'s bass and slap sounds for increased volume and presence in any playing situation.
In addition, the e-Cajon\'s output jack and volume control allow for external amplification or powered headphones while an input jack connects iPods and mp3 players (not included) for play-along.
Tycoon e-Cajons feature an all-wood frame and are available in a choice of Siam Oak or Makah-Burl with Bubinga models.
\"Retro\" Tycoon Percussion\'s new \"Retro\" model, the latest addition to their Artist Series line of congas and bongos, offers a finish that is reminiscent of authentic, Cuban-style drums of the 1950\'s and 60\'s.
The Artist \"Retro\" Series drums combine the look of alternating light and dark stained wood staves with an advanced, durable, high-gloss clear coat. They are offered at a midrange price.
The Artist \"Retro\" Series drums are made from the same environmentally-friendly, hand-selected Siam Oak that is used for many of Tycoon\'s other percussion instruments.
Sizes The congas are 28\" tall and available in 10\", 11\", 11¾\" and 12½\" sizes with water buffalo heads and contrasting, black powder-coated hardware.
A special 10\" and 11\" double conga set (complete with double conga stand) and matching 7\" and 8.5\" bongos are also offered.
