Sankala is forced to sit out the first gig in six and a half years for the reactivated Finnish group, as he had an ankle-related accident last autumn. He is currently awaiting an ankle operation. Sankala\'s duties will be handled by Tuomo Laikari, who is best known from Rautavaara Inc.
Also appearing at the New Year\'s Eve gig will be Amorphis, Reflexion and Poisonblack.
Eternal Tears Of Sorrow\'s fifth, \"Before the Bleeding Sun\", was released in Finland in April 2006 via Spinefarm Records. \"Before the Bleeding Sun\" was recorded at Tico-Tico Studios in Kemi and at Note-On Studios in Kuopio.
