TRX Cymbal Co. has launched a 22" Icon Heavy Ride cymbal. Weighing in at a hefty 4500 grams (9.5 lbs.), the new cymbal is 25% heavier than most normal 22" ride cymbals — containing as much metal as a 24" ride.

The Icon Heavy Ride was designed in conjunction with TRX artist Arin Ilejay of Avenged Sevenfold and features a large bell, traditional lathing and brilliant finish.
Its sound is said to be extremely powerful and articulate but not overly dry and, like all cymbals in the Icon range, bright and clean with warmth and body.
The 22" Icon Heavy Ride has a suggested retail price $699.99 and is available at leading drumshops and music stores.
