Troy is currently deployed in Iraq and Kuwait with the 100th battallion/442 Infantry of the pacific coast islands.
He will start his record attempt on April 28, 2009. The event will be streamed live from Kuwait at www.drummarathon.com.
In order to beat the current record, Troy Yocum will have to play for more than 120 hours in a row with only taking a 5 minute break every hour. He must also play to recognizable songs, without repeating within 4 hours and only 30 seconds of pause time in between.
Troy will play 250 songs from many styles from the 50\'s to today, using Pro-Mark drum sticks and Pro-Mark/Bionic drumming gloves.
