The core of the E4- is the E408 drum module: the brains of the system. This contains 8 Mb of 16 bit 44.1kHz (CD quality) samples, arranged by music style and the drum kits used for it. It\'s plenty to choose from as each set comes with four variations.

There are ten trigger inputs, an audio input, mini output, line output and an headphone output.

The Traps triggers provide a high triggers speed and huge sensitivity, allowing you to play very dynamically.

The drums are constructed from a high quality and durable plastic. For the chemists: it consists of acrylonitril, butadiene and styrene (ABS).

The electronic cymbals are also molded from the same solid material. They feature an internal trigger and a rubber pad to damp out stick noise. The hi hat consists of one of these cymbals plus a switch triggered via a standard foot pedal so you can play it the same way as an acoustic hi hat.

The rack system the drums and hardware (by Big Dog, os guaranteed high quality) to fit is made from substantial steel tubing which means everything stays exact where it is put when you set up the kit. It dose’t move an inch.

All drums are fitted with mesh heads and Traps triggers for near silent performance. You can crank up the volume through the supplied headphones and beat your heart out without upsetting your parents or neighbors. Or alternatively plug the output into the PA and blow the crowd away at your next gig.

Since the drums have standard dimensions, you can use regular heads and cymbals as well to play acoustically!
