Drums Live!, created by Toronto drummer/educator Rob Brown, celebrates the art of drumming. Now in its third year, Drums Live! is being recognized as Toronto\'s premier annual drum show with the crowds getting larger every year.

This year\'s cast is Mark Kelso, Rob Brown and Montreal\'s Paul Brochu. There will also be some great special guest musicians performing that night.
Past guest drummers include Larnell Lewis, Jeff Salem, Vito Rezza and Wilson Laurencin.
The show is meant to entertain, educate and inspire drummers and other musicians of all levels and, most importantly, showcase local talent.
The format The uniqueness of the show is achieved by its format: there are three drum kits on the stage, three sets of live music and a closing grand finale drum solo involving all three drummers.
Along with the cast of drummers the show also features some of the best musicians in Canada so Drums Live! is not just for drummers. It’s a show created by musicians for musicians and for anyone of any age that just loves live music.
Tastiest Groove Contest Enter for a chance to win your pick of Yamaha Drums/Paiste Cymbal products and also perform at Drums Live III! The winning entrant will perform his/her winning groove during a specific time slot in the show at which time they will be presented with the prize.
Submit a 2 to 3 minute video recording of yourself playing your original groove. The groove must be played on kick, hi-hats and snare only. Submissions including cymbals, fills or double bass peddling will be disregarded. You can find more details and information about how to enter here. The winner will be announced at the show. So be prepared to play. You just might get called up on stage!
