Seventeen years after the last tour by The Cars, two of its seminal members have customized their band to The New Cars.
Joining The Cars\' original guitarist Elliot Easton and keyboardist Greg Hawkes for Road Rage Tour 2006, will be an all-star group of rockers: veteran drummer CHarles \"Prairie\" Prince, vocalist/guitarist Todd Rundgren and fellow Utopia bassist/vocalist Kasim Sulton.
The tour promises to be one of the biggest musical events of the year as Blondie will ride shotgun with The New Cars. Newly inducted Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, Blondie will perform classics from their new \"Greatest Hits - Sound & Vision\" album.
The Road Rage Tour 2006 is a renewed welcome for The (New) Cars, at the same time it\'s Blondie\'s farewell tour. Drummer Clem Burke and the other band members have announced to part ways again after the tour. Blondie split up in 1982, but made a successful comeback in 1999.
