Two drivers, including The Ghost Inside's bus driver Greg Hoke, lost their lives in the collision. All five members of the band and the crew were injured.

Andrew suffered severe traumatic injuries. The drummer got in a coma for ten days, only to wake up and see his right leg was amputated above the knee.

Among his other medical hurdles was a spinal fracture, as well as a dislocated right shoulder that led to damaged nerves and partial paralysis in his right arm.
