Benny Greb answered our Ten One-minute Questions at the 2015 Meinl Drum Festival. The game here is that Benny answers 10 questions in 10 minutes, and sometimes it took a little longer. All his answers are just as valuable and funny as they can be; even when talking about the Dark Side of the Force in music. However, with Benny all that is drums and music is a serious matter, as long as you are willing to listen, study and practice... and enjoy it.

Benny Grebb is the tutor who wants you to enjoy drums. But also one who wants you to take the instrument seriously and explore it in every way you can. As Benny says: "To make your girlfriend like it as well."
Another best given in learning with Benny is covered in the videos: you have to keep it personal. And that is probably the most difficult thing when studying an instrument. Still, with Benny Greb here, and on his dvd's, it all becomes more easy, relaxed and he offers you his way to turn drums into grooves, and drums into music.

It is not for nothing his two dvd's are in the top 10 of the ultimate drummer tutorials. In the videos Benny talks about the groove esthetics of Richard Spaven, and also that he aspires to be able to play like him. He also talks about the fact that teaching is still the most important way to learn an instrument - proven by the extreme educational level of his dvd's.
