Called Wanna Play Music Sunday, NAMM will open its show floor on Sunday, June 20, for these groups to see demonstrations of the latest products, watch unique live musical performances, attend valuable workshops taught by known professional musicians and talk with music products industry insiders.
Some of the Wanna Play Music Sunday workshops scheduled include: How to Get More Gigs, Effects 101, Techniques to Hook up Your Gear, Recording Tips and Tricks, and How to Get Endorsed. The event will also feature drumming competitions.
Although no sales from the floor to these groups will be allowed on Wanna Play Music Sunday, NAMM hopes to help generate increased excitement for playing music and stimulate demand for many of the newly displayed products.
