Multi-instrumentalist Steven Drozd, who joined The Flaming Lips as their drummer in 1991, has been hospitalized. He remains in Palm Beach, Florida after being admitted last Wednesday with an undisclosed ailment.

As a result, the band has canceled several dates, including SunFest in Palm Beach, the Memphis In May Festival, and the Hangout Festival in Alabama.
