It was only seven months ago, in May 2005, that Gorman rejoined the Crowes for their reunion tour. He replaced previous sticksman Bill Dobrow, who was hired as a temporary replacement for departed drummer Jeff Sipe.

According to a statement on the group\'s web site, the Black Crowes are currently on hiatus because frontman Chris Robinson concentrates on recording a solo record. It appears that Steve Gorman has decided that he wants to do the same. On Launch.com Gorman stated:

\"It was just time to look into other projects and opportunities.I felt it was time to move on and focus on my own projects. I\'m very proud of the music we\'ve made, and now I look forward to going off in my own direction.\"
