Grammy award winning drummer Robert "Sput" Searight has joined Meinl's family of cymbal artists.
"Sput" has drummed with Timbaland, Jo Jo, Justin Timberlake, and Storytellers with Snoop Dogg, among others.
"Sput" is also recognized for his outstanding work with Snarky Puppy, a group that has been hailed as being a part of the New Face of Jazz.
Check out the dvd/cd packages 'Tell Your Friends' and 'Ground Up,' both live projects that were recorded and filmed in front of intimate and small audiences set in recording studios.
'Tell Your Friends' laid the foundation for the release of 'Ground Up' to become one of the most anticipated Jazz releases of 2012. When it hit the streets, it debuted at #3 on the iTunes Jazz charts.
